Get Alien Skin’s shareware drop shadow filter and many other free/shareware filters/plug-ins on this page. It lets you set offset, blur “width” and color of shadow. Very easy to use.

Alien Skin is great set of plug-ins... but the original is always the best - go with Kai Krause’s baby, Kai’s Power Tools (KPT) and the other products that MetaTools puts out. Their best stuff ranges from $199 to $399 but well worth it if you can swing it...it’s an investment that works with all of your graphics packages. sry, Phoenix Rising
